Honestly after getting on the wrong plane I had no choice. I had gone to test out my Stratermic gear in the cold of Alaska and the next thing there I was on a plane going to Marrakesh with bags full of fleeces, hats, gloves and even a sleeping bag.
Finally I had to go ahead with my tests anyway. It was while talking to other travellers that I found out how to test my Stratermic gear.
Luckily for me, the temperature falls drastically in the desert. It can drop from more than 40°C during the day to below 0°C at night.
The reason for this contrast between the temperature at midday and at midnight is the purity of the atmosphere. When night falls, the ground cools and emits its heat into the air through infra red rays: this is nocturnal radiation.
Elsewhere, all over the world, humidity and clouds help the ground to retain this heat. It is also noticeable that cloudy humid nights are often mild.
But in the desert the atmosphere has none of this leaving travellers with only their body heat to keep warm. Luckily I brought what I needed to keep me warm!
Stratermic products will help to conserve my body heat and protect me from the cold wherever I am!
